Leaf and Root Farm is comprised of 5 acres of mixed cropping including polytunnels, raised beds and outdoor cultivated areas and orchards, with a large variety of fruit. It is surrounded by 25 acres of mixed woodland with an old mill and mill race. We farm with the objective of using natural systems to produce food and enhance soil life as much as possible, leaving space for nature. This biodiversity walk will include a tour of the various production methods and explore how we can build stronger local food systems in Ireland. Tea and coffee will be provided.
