Celebrate National Biodiversity Week with us in partnership with the Irish Environmental Network! Join our local branch members as we explore our Camcor Wood nature reserve in Offaly!
**Wellies are essential for this event as this site is very wet underfoot
We will meet at the Kinnitty Looped Walks Trailhead at 10:30AM on Sunday the 19th of May. From there, we will make our way to our Camcor Wood reserve where we will enter our site and take in the sights, sounds and smells of this stunning riparian woodland. From insects and wildflowers to established trees and the environment we will celebrate each aspect of biodiversity found in our site and appreciate how each contributes to the Irish landscape.
Once we finish in our reserve we will make our way back to the carpark and finish our day with a picnic lunch, tea and coffee!
We hope that you may join us on the day, learn with us, and show your support for Ireland’s natural heritage.
Age limit: Due to access issues at this site only children from 8 and up will be able to attend this event and we do ask that children are accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
