Join us for a batty evening of family friendly fun at the beautiful Swan Park.  Learn all about the bats that call the park home, why we need bats for better biodiversity, make some batty crafts and go on a moonlit bat walk around the park with special bat detecting equipment.  We have teamed up with our friends at Wild Inishowen and Donegal County Council’s Biodiversity Officer to showcase why we need biodiversity and how each of us can boost biodiversity at home, workplace and school.  Refreshments provided.

Location (including meeting point, if relevant): Swan Park, Buncrana. Meet at Angling Centre. Free parking on site.

Any participant requirements:
– Free event
– Suitable for children aged 7+
– All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times
– Participants are advised to wear a warm waterproof coat and strong footwear
– In event of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled and participants will be informed by email of new arrangements
– Please let us know any access or dietary requirements in the booking form
