(Eco)-systems thinking: enabling biodiversity in a disconnected world

May 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Sarah’s talk will elicit what life on land requires to outline what constitutes a healthy ecosystem. Sarah will demonstrate the concept of a core area which gets fragmented and gradually taken over by human activities to highlight how we have degraded healthy ecosystems. The talk will finish off with thinking about what we can do; drawing out the need to give some space back to nature, create corridors, and reduce other actions that we may not initially think of as impacting biodiversity.
