2-Day coastal monitoring exhibition

- The exhibition(May 20-21, 11am-6pm) is free and open to all, with no registration required. It will showcase coastal monitoring work, local and national initiatives, and interactive displays exploring Strandhill’s dynamic coastal environment.
This event is open to all – residents, visitors, businesses, and community groups are all welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
Strandhill is one of several communities involved in the CMAP project, a cross-border project aiming to better understand fragile beach and dune systems and plan for their future. Over the coming years, the project will bring together scientific research and local knowledge to co-design long-term, nature-based solutions for coastal resilience.
The CMAP project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), and co-funded by the European Union, the Government of Ireland, the Government of the United Kingdom, and the Northern Ireland Executive.
