Ground-nesting birds of wetlands and coasts need all the help they can get to raise the next generation of chicks each summer. Join us for a Friday evening outing to meet a colony of Ireland’s national bird, a settlement of summer visitors from Africa, and a host of other birds living in the habitats protected by the Cooldross Breeding Wader Project and the Kilcoole Little Tern Project on the Wicklow coast!
Wrap up warm in case of sea breezes and bring binoculars or telescopes if you have them! Unfortunately, dogs (excluding guide dogs) are not permitted on this event.
