The People’s Emergency Briefing – Greystones-Delgany launch
We need your input now again please.
We stood together, as local youth and families, in 2019. We declared the Wicklow Climate and Biodiversity / Nature* Emergency together and mobilized our local and national community to improve the situation. We did good then (we led the world), and still, nothing like good enough.
It is time now to step up our Emergency mobilization together. And to invite our elected representatives and all stakeholders to stand with us again.
We will screen a new film featuring Chris Packham, leading climate and nature scientists, Prof Kevin Anderson, a former general, and Jennifer Saunders – all being frank and open about where things are heading and what can be done about it.
We will discuss and review the Irish Climate & Nature* Emergency to date and agree the mandate and initial actions we want for stronger, faster change.
