Trawling for Answers Film Screening Kenmare

As part of the Kenmare Celebration of Our Bay festival the Irish Wildlife Trust is delighted to be hosting a screening of their documentary film Trawling for Answers. This film explores issues around bottom trawling and marine protection in Ireland. Grace Carr, IWT Marine Advocacy Officer, speaks with fish producer organisations, environmental researchers, ex commercial bottom trawlers, conservationists and more in a trip around Ireland seeking to find out how well our waters are protected and what else needs to be done.
The event will consist of the film screening followed by a Q&A at the Carnegie Arts Centre, after which we will head over to the Lansdowne Arms Hotel for an informal discussion of the film’s themes.
