Freshwater invertebrate identification workshop

Join us in UCD this Biodiversity Week for a series of beginner-level species identification workshops with UCD biodiversity experts.
These hands-on sessions will teach you how to spot and identify plants, freshwater invertebrates, solitary bees, birds, mammals and earthworms.
In the freshwater invertebrate workshop, participants will learn to recognise representative examples of different invertebrate groups (insects, crustaceans, snails, worms and leeches) and learn about using invertebrates as indicators of stream water quality. With Dr Marcin Penk.
