Dusk Chorus Walk at BirdWatchIreland’s East Coast Nature Reserve
May 20 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Join the Birdwatch Ireland for a Dusk Chorus Walk at East Coast Nature Reserve. May is the height of the bird-breeding season when birds are most active pairing up and defending territories. It is also the time of year volunteers are out surveying for the Countryside Bird Survey. Come and enjoy a walk while learning why the birds are singing and why we survey them. We will be listening to and observing the array of bird species present on the reserve, if lucky we will hear Woodpecker and Grasshopper Warbler, but old friends like Willow Warblers and Robins should be chipping in too!
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear as there is some uneven ground. Meet at the main Sea Road entrance at 8 PM.
The Countryside Bird Survey coordinated by BirdWatch Ireland under contract to the National Parks and Wildlife Service. Thanks also to Wicklow County Council for funding for habitat works on the reserve.
