Bee Day at Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve

Did you know there are 100 wild bee species in Ireland? This World Bee Day, join NPWS Wicklow and the Irish Wildlife Trust to meet the bees of Knocksink Wood! From bumbles to miners and beyond, bees lead fascinating and varied lives from our back gardens to the wildest habitats. Take a stroll from the Bog Meadow carpark up to Knocksink Education Centre, help us find and identify the bees and other insects we find along the way, and learn how you can help your local pollinators.
