Join us for a hands-on butterfly recording workshop for people who want to move beyond awareness and make a real contribution.

This practical outdoor session will equip you with the skills to identify, record and monitor butterflies, supporting national citizen science programmes.
You will learn:
- How to identify common butterfly species
- Which plants and habitats to look out for
- How to record and submit sightings using FIT Counts and Butterfly Monitoring schemes with Biodiversity Ireland
Ideal for Tidy Towns, community and environmental groups, biodiversity volunteers, and anyone ready to get outdoors and take positive action.
