Omeath BioBlitz

A BioBlitz is a 24 or 48 hour event to find and record as many of the species in a given area as possible.
It is a fun and informal way for members of the public to learn how to record biodiversity, alongside experts.

What to record: wild plants, animals, fungi
Where to submit your records:
– National Biodiversity Data Centre: records.biodiversityireland.ie/record/BioBlitz/
(choose ID: Omeath BioBlitz),
or
– bring your records to our ecologist – talk to Goska to get help with identification and submitting records on Sunday 17th May 12 – 3 pm.
Look for our tent at the Omeath sea shore near the old graveyard.
