River Ara Bat and Moth Walk

Explore the Bat and Moth species that inhabit the area along the beautiful River Ara Walkway during biodiversity week. This event is led by Albert Nolan an ecologist with Nature Network Ireland.

Find out about some of the mysteries of our nocturnal mammals and creatures. Learn about Irelands Bat species and come to understand how these insectivores feed and operate using echolocation.
This walk will be suitable for all ages and will follow the path along the River Ara Walkway.
- Warm water-proof clothing and sturdy footwear is advised.
- Meeting Point – Bennetts Super Value car park, Station Road, Tipperary Town.
