Celebrating National Biodiversity Week
Location: Rathnew, Loughnavalley, Co. Westmeath

Join Hedgerows Ireland for a guided biodiversity hedgerow walk at the Hill of Uisneach, exploring the ecological importance of Ireland’s native hedgerows and their role in supporting wildlife, pollinators and landscape connectivity.
Topics will include:
• biodiversity value of hedgerows
• heritage hedgerow features
• species identification
• hedgerows as wildlife corridors
This event is funded by the Irish Environmental Network (IEN) and supported by Westmeath Biodiversity Office.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Children are welcome (must be accompanied by an adult).
Please wear suitable footwear and bring rain gear.
