Medicinal walk with dr. Su Huschke

May 23 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The medicines are growing right under our feet! You are invited to share your own knowledge, experiences and stories about the plants we encounter. We will go for a short walk (max 500 m) around the area, discovering weeds and wild plants with medicinal properties. We will be going at a slow pace, and children are very welcome.

Dr Su Huschke is a health researcher, birth doula and traditional herbalist. Her childhood memories of making calendula salve with her mother inspired her to grow and harvest her own herbs. Su is a firm believer that the knowledge about medicine plants belongs to all of us. Originally from East Germany, Su now lives and grows her plants in Bantis, Cloughjordan.
