SUMMARY:Minibeast Safari and Pond Dipping
DESCRIPTION:Come along to the National Museum of Ireland at Turlough Park\, Castlebar\, Co. Mayo\, for a family-friendly afternoon workshop exploring minibeasts of the land and water.\n\n\nJoin our special guest\, Michael Chambers from Wild Nephin National Park\, to explore the biodiverse grounds of Turlough Park and learn about the habitats and plants where these creatures make their home. Michael will also show us how to use equipment to find and identify minibeasts. \nThis after-school event takes places from 3.30pm to 4:30pm on Thursday\, 21 May 2026\, at the National Museum of Ireland – Turlough Park\, in association with The Murmur of Bees exhibition. \nSuitable for children age 4+. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. Admission is free. Booking required – book here
