DESCRIPTION:MicroBuddiez invites children and families to explore the hidden world of microbes and their role in Ireland’s ecosystems. Through an interactive experience combining science\, art\, and hands-on discovery\, participants will journey from the first discovery of microbes to modern-day microbiomes in bogs\, oceans\, soils\, and the human body. The workshop includes sensory exploration\, microscopy\, a collaborative ecosystem game\, and a creative activity where participants design their own microbe and contribute to a shared “microbiome”. This engaging session highlights the importance of microbial biodiversity in a fun\, accessible\, and memorable way. \nSuitable for children aged 6 – 12 years old.
