SUMMARY:A Journey along the Nature Trails and Boreens of Galway city
DESCRIPTION:A guided cycle and walk along a network of nature heritage trails of Terryland Forest Park as well as\nthe traditional boreens (country lanes) that still exist in its surrounding environs which were until a\nfew decades ago a rural area of small farms and pasture lands but are now part of the urban\nlandscape of Galway city.\nThose that take part in this event will by their participation become aware of how these trails and\nboreens can take become a rich mosaic of ecological corridors\, greenways and travel routes that will\nhelp transform Galway into a city defined by its green\, blue and active travel infrastructure.
