SUMMARY:Forest school: Forest school inspired nature based activities for children
DESCRIPTION:Aisling and Karen will guide an exploration of the nature and wildlife surrounding Cuan Beo paying attention to the growth and new beginnings at this particular time of year. We will then craft with some of the items that we have found or been inspired by on our journey. Participants will be invited to consider ways we can respectfully co-exist with the plants and wildlife we come across. Children must be accompanied by an adult; aimed at children from 5 -10 years old but siblings are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:A short talk on the birds of Cloughjordan Ecovillage and an introduction to identifying birds by their song and call\, followed by a walk through the Ecovillage to listen to the dusk chorus and identify common species. In case of wet weather\, the event will take the form of an indoor talk in the Cuan Beo polytunnel.
