My name is Tommy Earley and I would like to welcome you all to Mount Allen farm. I started farming organic beef here in 1996 and have been welcoming farm visitors since. This is a suckler cow enterprise and we also run social farming on a weekly basis. We encourage community involvement on the farm and run a vegetable garden to encourage people to grow their own food. The farm boasts a variety of natural habitat types that boosts biodiversity on the farm. I have a particular interest in vintage tractors and all the farm work is done by vintage Massey Fergusons. All of my projects on the farm aim to maintain it in a way that makes it more biodiversity-friendly and to educate people on how to do the same. Light refreshments available after the walk.
