DESCRIPTION:Join the team behind Esk Mountain – a 270 acre nature restoration project on the Cork-Kerry border for a introduction to the project & the work on site to return nature at scale to this mountain.\n> 90min guided walk & talk exploring what nature restoration can & could be in practice. \n\n> Learn how to remove alien invasive plant species such as Rhododendron ponticum. \n> Discover how life can be returned to plantation woodland with ecologically focused management practices. \n> Walk trails constructed using materials sourced on site from boardwalks to bridges. \n> See Dexter cattle & Tamworth pigs in action – proxy ecosystem engineers helping drive dynamic ecological change. \n> Selection of products made from & for the land will be on display & available for purchase with 100% of profits returned to support nature restoration work on site. \n> Optional Add-on: Join us for lunch & make your own wild pizza cooked & served fireside in our woodland kitchen. \n  \nWalk FREE but booking essential as spaces limited.   Lunch ticket €30 includes pizza\, drink of choice & a small donation to Esk Mountain nature restoration project.  Tickets for both the FREE walk & OPTIONAL LUNCH must be PRE-BOOKED via the website link at the bottom of this page. \n  \nEVENT SCHEDULE\n> 10.30am: Arrivals \n> 11am: Walk start \n> 12.30noon: Walk & main event finish \n> 12.30 – 2pm: Optional fireside lunch.  Lunch tickets must be pre-booked by adding on at check-out.
