Learn about the woodland habitats, flora and fauna of Ballybeg Woods with Ecologist and Local Expert Donncha O’ Cathain. Now is a good time to see flowering plants and species including wood anemones, lesser celandine, dog violets, blackthorn, hazel and epiphyte ferns. Learn about the species the woodland supports. This event is aimed at community groups, local interest groups and individuals with an interest in biodiversity.

This event is organised by Clare County Council’s Biodiversity Officer and is free to attend and open to the public.
