
The Michael Davitt museum are hosting a one day Irish Meteorological Seminar on Saturday 20th of May 2023 from 11.30 am to 17.15 pm. This event is part of the museum’s Remembering Community Heroes Programme and specifically relates to the Martin Sweeney Environmental Project.
A range of guest speakers will discuss various meteorological topics with a particular emphasis on the future volunteer observations. This event is part of a process to raise awareness of the Martin Sweeney Environmental Project and Martin’s life and legacy. A limited number of IMS delegates will attend and the Seminar is also available for members of the public to attend free of charge.
