Practical look at a newly created pond for wildlife.

Join Feidhlim Harty, An Taisce’s Legacy4LIFE Ponds for Biodiversity Pond Creation Advisor, and Aoife O’Rourke, An Taisce’s Legacy4LIFE Ponds for Biodiversity Pond Development Officer/Project Lead, as they revisit a newly created community pond for wildlife. Pond management and monitoring will be discussed and practical tips will be given. Light refreshments will be provided. This event will kindly be supported by the National Biodiversity Data Centre.

We will meet at the Stiofain Naofa Social Studies Room in the Tramore Road Campus (Cork College of FET), Tramore Rd., Cork City. T12 AC91, where we will give a talk outlining all the important points to consider when creating, managing and monitoring a pond, followed by light refreshments and a 15min walk to the newly created Clashduv Community Wildlife Pond in Clashduv Park, Togher.
