Diarmaid is a director of Crann, Trees for Ireland, a national organisation whose ethos is to promote and protect biodiversity and to safeguard our woodlands and hedgerows for the future. In this talk, he will outline the benefit of trees in the community with a Q&A afterwards. All are welcome to the Kildare Town Community Garden afterwards for refreshments.

An interactive workshop to help you do your bit to boost biodiversity with horticulturist Judith O’Connor. Learn how you can support and encourage more biodiversity into your garden. Plant flowers to take home and grow that will encourage more visitors to your space.

Judith O’Connor has studied Organic Horticulture at the Organic College in Dromcolliher and ran the Kildare GIY group for many years. Please note this event must be booked in advance.
