Urban Nature Explorers: Biodiversity Trail is offers the general public an opportunity to engage with different ecological features that support a wide range of biodiversity within an urban setting.
The Trail includes different stations located around our centre including: living wall; constructed wetland; bug-hotel; sensory garden; rain-fed pond; vegetable garden; green roof and green wall.
Each station offers an opportunity to learn more about species inhabiting our urban green spaces and how to conserve biodiversity in urban back gardens and balconies.
Staff will be available at the stations for activities, explanations, and answer questions.
Some stations will feature hands-on activities such as plant identification.
Other stations will offer an opportunity to explore issues like biodiversity loss.
All activities, discussions and explanations are tailored to the age and interests of the audience.
Suitable for any age. Wheelchair accessible.
The event is free but booking is required
