The living and the dead of Hook Head

This event takes participants over rough terrain down the shore of a little cove at low tide to discover shore life, especially seaweeds and molluscs.

We will search for blue rayed limpets and dips into rock pools, without creating chaos for those who live there.

There will also be an introductory talk on fossils, followed by a fossil hunt.

Break for coffee/picnic in Hook Head Lighthouse.
