The Liffey in the City – Wildlife of Our City’s River

The event is to highlight the importance of the river ecosystem, its habitats and the animals and plants that depend on it as an important habitat which it flows largely unobserved through the centre of the city.

Lunchtime lectures on the Liffey’s bird and wildlife as the river flows through the busy and often ignoring city and its population.

Weather permitting a group will be taken along the quayside.

Illustrated talks with Niamh Fitzgerald of Birdwatch Ireland and Dr. Julian Reynolds, Zoologist, Trinity College Dublin
